My Samsung Galaxy keeps shutting down! Solved

Question

Hello,
I have a Samsung Galaxy phone, but for the past few days, it has been turning off by itself frequently, and I have to plug it back in to turn it on again!
What could be the cause of this?

The Galaxy S1, 2, or 3?

First, check for updates: To update your phone, use Samsung Kies: https://www.samsung.com/fr/support/kies/

Then remove the battery and press the power button for about twenty seconds to drain any remaining electricity, then put the battery back in and turn it on.

This is a common problem with Galaxy phones, if the problem persists, contact the store where you purchased it if it is still under warranty.

Hello everyone
Just a heads up. I'm the owner of a Galaxy S4, it was shutting down often for the past 2 or 3 days, every time I took a photo or went to the gallery>. I tried copying my SD card to my PC and two photos refused to be copied. I deleted them from the card, put the card back (I had removed it from the phone for testing) and there it was, my phone is working perfectly again.

Hello everyone, well I've got the same symptoms as you: the screen turns off but the phone seems to be working, my phone would randomly shut down or turn off with minor shocks, I also experienced little colored dots all over the screen like snow,
to restart it, you had to remove the battery...
