Hello,

I have been experiencing a problem for a little while now; whenever I make or receive a call, I have to switch to speaker mode to hear what my interlocutor is saying. What should I do? My phone is a Samsung Corby!

Okay.

In that case, follow these steps:

1. Grab a cotton swab.

2. Remove some cotton so that it fits into the headphone jack, but leave enough!

3. Insert the tip of the cotton swab into the headphone jack until you touch the end, then rotate clockwise about ten times.

4. Turn the cotton swab around and use the other end. Insert this into the headphone jack and again rotate counterclockwise about ten times.

5. Throw away the cotton swab, blow firmly into the headphone jack 3 or 4 times, or even better, use a can of compressed air if you have one (and only compressed air, otherwise you risk damaging the equipment).

Then, try calling a mobile or landline at your home, and let me know if it works now or if you still can't hear anything (no beep when the phone calls, no sound when the person speaks, etc... specify)
