Windows Media cannot play the file. Solved

Question

HELLO EVERYONE I RECEIVED A VIDEO BY EMAIL AND HERE IS THE MESSAGE THAT APPEARS IN A WINDOW:
The Windows Media Player cannot play the file. It is possible that the player does not support the file type or the codec used for compressing it.
DOES ANYONE HAVE AN IDEA?

Good evening... look in tools - options - file types tab and check all files... Windows Media does not read all files... then try with another software:

Hi   I have the same problem   but when I click on tools then options I can't find file types   but there is plugin and other tabs   I have Windows Vista

My problem is that I have Vista and when I download a movie with Limewire and the download is more than 5%, I cannot read the file. It used to work, and now there’s no way. What should I do? Is there a solution? Thank you!
