Windows Media Player no album display

Which CD are you talking about? Because the word CD appears a lot in my question.

Yes, I also had some issues with a few CDs. In fact, when I inserted the blank CD for burning, it gave me a message saying that the CD was damaged. And my grandma, who also makes copies but of DVDs, told me that there was probably dust on the underside of the blank CD that was causing the problem. Indeed, I cleaned the CD with a dry cloth, going from the inside towards the outside, and it worked right after cleaning.

As for my problem, it’s not that serious. It’s just a detail. As long as the burning works. Thank you for your help anyway.

OK. But the CD drive works fine since I have no issues with other CDs. My laptop is a year and a half old (June 2011).

I found a solution for my album cover display issue in Windows Media Player. When you insert the disc, click on the icon in the upper right corner with 3 small squares and an arrow pointing to the left "Switch to Library". Then, right-click on the blank cover and select "Find album info". Next, enter the artist's name and/or the album name in the field on the right (I entered both), and if all goes well, the correct album will appear in the search among others. Select it and click next. Finally, after a quick verification, click Finish. Eject the CD and put it back in, and then the cover and song info will display (titles, duration, etc).
I'm happy, I'm going to have a good day. Yes, I don’t need much. Lol. Hoping to have helped at least one person, I would be even happier.

I would like to do something in Windows Media Player. Since the cover art for one of my original CDs is not recognized, I would like to add it myself. I will scan it with my printer and then upload it to the designated location in WM Player. Is this possible? Any other useful manipulations?
