Hello,

I have a problem with my HP Deskjet F2290 All-In-One printer. When I turn it on, it shows "E" (error) in the copy number display, and the color and black ink alert lights are on. There are no cartridges inside, nor any paper, and it has been properly installed on my PC. I didn't buy it; I was given it because it "wasn't working anymore."
I have already tried resetting it; it didn't work. If someone could help me.

Thank you in advance.

Configuration: Windows 7 / Safari 535.19

    Hello,

apparently, a certain number of copies must have been scheduled and the alerts are due to the fact that there is no more paper and no more ink.

Load the paper rack and install the ink cartridges.

Let us know what happens next.

    Best regards.

    Thank you for your response,

Is it normal that when I try to start a print job, no alert message such as "Out of paper, out of ink..." appears on my computer?

If so, I will try to refill the printer with ink and paper.

I don't really know, I don't think so, but without paper and without cartridges installed, your printer won't be able to operate normally...
