Hello,
I have a Packard Bell Easynote LK and I would like to change the processor for the BGA413 socket considering that my processor is an AMD E-300.
Do I need to reinstall Windows?
I don’t know which processor to choose?
Thank you
Configuration: iPhone / Safari 7534.48.3

Hi,
Changing the processor of a laptop would be way too expensive for it to be worth it, especially considering it's a low-end Packard Bell like yours.
If your processor (and more generally your PC) no longer meets your needs, it’s better to completely change your laptop.
Catch you later =)

I surfed the web and I found the AMD E-450 processor, is it compatible??!
Thank you for your help! :)

You found it for sale...? I doubt it.
Good luck with unsoldering and soldering it back: http://media.bestofmicro.com/asrock-e350m1-zacate-apu-e-350,U-H-277145-13.jpg

+1 Franck7511 On my old Toshiba laptop, the processor is soldered, so it's unchangeable except with professional soldering equipment, but it would still have to be that the motherboard of the laptop supports a more powerful processor... I preferred to build a small tower with a little Intel at 3GHz dual-core and 3MB cache, it really changes from the small AMD E-300 of the laptop :D and the entire mini tower, except for the screen, cost me less than the laptop...
I want to change it because it's clocked at 1.3 GHz and I would like to have one clocked at least at 2 GHz, thanks.
1/ No CPU on this socket is clocked above > 2 GHz
2/ They are soldered.
What clock speed are they running at then?
Thanks
