      Hello,
Following your advice, I went to ascomedia. I tried the 4 recommended steps to resolve the error 633 issue. There’s nothing I can do. It's still not working.
The TISCALI dialer told me, before I uninstalled it: "the modem (or another connection device) is already in use or is not configured correctly."
Additionally, the assistant for my internal Smartlink 56 K modem gives me the following result code: 0105101+0.0.
I went to the Smartlink website, but I can’t find anything.
Can you advise me again, please?
Thank you very much in advance.

    Cause
This situation may occur when another device using a driver that is incompatible with Windows WP conflicts with the modem. For example, this issue may arise with outdated Palm Pilot software.

    Resolution
To resolve this issue, follow these steps: 1. In safe mode, remove all modem drivers, then restart the computer.

Windows will proceed to re-detect the modem.
    2. Click on Start, then Control Panel.
    3. Click on Add or Remove Programs.
    4. Click on the incompatible software, for example, Palm Desktop and sync software.
    5. Click on Modify/Remove, then proceed to uninstall the software.

    I found the solution

right-click on your connection ==> properties ==> network management ==> then check all the boxes for the protocol and then OK, there you go.
