Hello,
I was wondering if it was possible to apply "faux bold" to text in InDesign CS5?
Otherwise, how can we adjust the spacing of text in Photoshop Elements?
For now, if I want spaced text, I do it in InDesign and for bold text, I go to Elements, and it's quite tedious and impractical not to be able to do both in either software.
Thank you
Configuration: Windows 7 / Internet Explorer 9.0

The "fake" bold is an aberration.... The design of a character is different in bold.
Indeed, some layout software does this, but it's a risk when exporting to PDF that the "fake" bold won't be rendered. Acrobat cheats by reproducing the effect through a triple layering of the characters with a slight offset, but I'm not sure that all PS interpreters do the same thing. And even then, it depends on how the data is sent to the interpreter...
If you really want to "bold" it a bit... add an outline.
