disappearance of channels on optex ORS9950 Solved

Hello,

I have a problem with my Optex ORS 9950 receiver. For the past 15 days, I haven’t been receiving Gulli, and now today France 2 has disappeared as well. The message "You do not have access rights to this channel" appears for both Gulli and France 2. The other channels are working just fine.
According to what I've read here and there, I need to go to installation, software update, choose TP 12604/22000/H, and press the red button on the remote. But the problem is that the following message appears: "No software available."
I’ve tried turning off the receiver and unplugging the antenna... but still nothing.
If anyone can shed some light on this, that would be great.

Same problem as you, except I don't have the same receiver, but I have the same channels that do the same thing as yours. Quite annoying!!

An additional security measure has been activated since February 1, 2012, on the GULLI, France2, and France2 HD channels of the TNTSAT service package.

You may encounter difficulties receiving the channels (displaying an error message such as "optional channel"), even with your valid TNTSAT card inserted.

In this case, the only solution is to perform the automatic update broadcast via satellite.

The update procedure that was on the Optex website:

Please update your terminal by following the procedure below:

1) Press MENU, select the INSTALLATION menu and Software Update.

2) Select from the list of TP, the transponder 12604 / 22000 H and press the OK button.

3) Press the F1 key, as soon as the terminal indicates that new software has been detected, press the OK button.
The terminal will restart, please wait about 5 minutes until the terminal turns back on and you will have access to the NT1 channel again.

The frequency for updating TNTSAT terminals (Optex, Neovia...):

- 12604 H, SR 22000 on Astra

No signal since last year (I think), I’ve moved the satellite dish around to get a signal but no change.

There is another frequency for updating TNTSAT terminals:
- 11479 H, SR 22000 on Astra

It’s a different transponder for the update but I think a new frequency needs to be created if you don’t find it on the list of frequencies for OTA Update.
