    Hi,

"Nvidia GeForce GT 530 graphics card"
This is not a graphics card made for gaming; it will suffice for office tasks and simple multimedia but not for gaming.

Furthermore, I strongly advise against purchasing a HP branded PC; it is an unreliable brand, and their computers are of poor quality and encounter numerous issues. To be avoided.

I recommend building your PC piece by piece; this is the way to get a reliable, high-quality, upgradeable PC that suits your needs.

I can suggest a custom configuration if you’d like... Please answer these few questions...

    What is your maximum budget?
Does this budget include a monitor?
Do you want a PC with or without an OS (Windows Seven)?
Are you planning to overclock the processor or add a second graphics card later?
Can you assemble the PC yourself, or can someone you know do it for you?

    Catch you later =)

      Hello
It's true that such comments are very constructive!
And if HP were as bad as you claim, forums like this one would be overflowing.
If you are disgusted with this brand, that's not a reason to disgust others.
Or do you have other objective arguments apart from ""...the PCs are of poor quality and have a lot of problems..."
      Best regards

Your comment is no more objective than theirs...
HP is not reliable, that is no longer up for debate, they prove it every day...
And anyway, branded desktop PCs are only good for very low-end models at €500 or less; above that, a custom-built PC becomes more advantageous... So, for gaming, it’s clear that a PC with an i7-2600 and a crappy GT 530, regardless of the brand, is not suitable. HP, Acer, Dell, or Packard-Bell, with such a configuration, the price is the same: it's not meant for that!!

Another loyal defender of crappy brands...

Your comment isn't even worth a reply, the subject has been discussed countless times on the forum, no need to start over on this topic to pollute it with endless debates, just do a search to find the "objective arguments" you're looking for, there's no shortage of them...

PS: Scarface has already responded to you very well...

I'm just passing by, but I want to clarify that:

1: I have an HP p6, 6GB RAM, 2TB storage, originally an NVIDIA 530 which works PERFECTLY well for gaming but not on high settings, an i5 3.1 GHz processor, integrated WiFi.

2: I've always had HP PCs and have always been very satisfied (my first was an HP dv5 which is now 5 years old and still runs very well (90 fps on average in games).

3: The p6 is easily modifiable (I know what I'm talking about, I've done it) despite the limited space of the case, you can easily change the components.

4: My modifications for my p6:
      - power supply, from 350W to 550W Cooler Master
      - graphics card from NVIDIA 530 to MSI 660 Ti OC edition core 890 MHz and memory clock 3300 MHz
      - RAM from 6GB to 8GB
      - added storage drives (+2) bringing me to a total of 6TB.

5: The only drawbacks of the p6 are:
      - the number of fan connectors (2 + the CPU cooler)
      - CD drive that doesn't do Blu-ray (unlike my dv5).

I made all these modifications because I need more performance, but even stock, the p6 is very versatile and well optimized for a standard PC.
The only PC brand that's not recommendable is Acer (except for screens) given the prices.

    Hi

Is this a good PC for gaming? <= with such a low-end graphics card and such a powerful processor, LOL, of course not!

Only integrators make such unbalanced configurations. A low-end graphics card with one of the most powerful consumer processors at the moment... And I'm not even talking about the quality/reliability of branded desktop PCs, the only ones that are somewhat decent are Dell...

How much is this HP sold for?

Before asking a question: 1° Turn on your brain, your PC won't think for you!
2° Google is your friend, the search engine on CCM too, do a search!

The PC is unbalanced: a powerful CPU next to a weak GPU. Given the cost, you can build a PC yourself if you want to take on the adventure or have a PC built with the components of your choice by a site like materiel.net. An AMD platform would be the best choice in terms of price.

That, on a GT 530 LOL... But a GT 530 isn't even on the level of a 9800 GT, which barely manages to run the game... So on Ultra, you're making me laugh... If you want to buy a totally unbalanced PC, that's your right, we've warned you... Oh yes, it's 1280x720, that has nothing to do with full HD...

Above all, it seems to me that no one has used the term crappy graphics card, not even the staunch anti-HP folks. The fact that the PC was unbalanced has been pointed out, with a very powerful CPU paired with a low-power graphics card.
