Hello everyone, just a quick practical question:
Can we use the free player without a connection to a Freebox, in short, use the free player as a Blu-ray or DVD player without being with Free?

I am not saying that the free player belongs to me; I was only asking, not being a Free subscriber but having in my possession a free player that was lent to me in order to see the difference in quality between DVD and Blu-ray before investing in a Blu-ray player. The person who lent it to me also didn't know if it would work.
Having already tried to use it but being powered only by the free plugs and therefore systematically searching for a connection, I reformulate my question: is it possible to use a free player as a simple DVD Blu-ray player without a connection to a Free server?
