Hello,
After waking it up, I restarted Windows 7 and clicked on switch user.
My PC did not start again, black screen.
I turned it off by pressing the power button.
I restarted the system.
Message:
The last attempt to resume the system from its previous location failed. Would you like to attempt a new recovery?
Choices:
Continue system recovery.
Delete recovery data and go to the menu.
I need to choose one of these two options "delete data......" is highlighted.
The choice is made by moving the highlight with the arrow keys, but the keyboard is inactive.
What should I do?
Thank you for your help.

Hello,
please continue the system recovery as you must have interrupted it by shutting down your computer. If you really can't choose and if you have the CD, you can always try to boot from the CD and attempt a startup repair or a system restore after restarting your PC again (personally, that's what I would do because I'm not convinced you need to delete the restore data, but it's always tricky to shut down your PC, there are risks).

I had the same problem and I found a very simple solution, you just need to avoid using a USB keyboard, you have to use the old round connector (I don’t know what it’s called), plug it into the computer while it’s turned off. When you turn your PC back on, it will immediately recognize this keyboard and you will then be able to choose the option without any problem. After that, the computer will start up normally.
Hello and thank you for your response,
I tried to restart with the CD, it recognizes it and consistently takes me back to the two choices mentioned with a locked keyboard.
When I go to the wood, the keyboard is operational.
