Unable to rename the local disk

Hello,
Since the resolution of a virus-related issue on this forum a few months ago, I am unable to rename my local disk C:\. What I mean is that F2 to rename allows me to type a name, but after I type it, the name reverts to its original value. The right-click “Properties” shows a blank name, and no matter how much I write, the name doesn’t change.
After several searches, it seems this is a consequence of the vaccination from USBFix during the last procedure. I’ve tried everything to remove this vaccination, but nothing works, whether it’s UsbFix itself or KillVaccin. There isn’t an “autorun.inf” file at the root of my drive, which also seemed to be the cause of the same issue on other forums.
I remember modifying the default name of the drive in the registry editor a few months ago (but I’ve forgotten how), but I still can’t modify it manually… and it’s becoming quite annoying. I also feel like the renaming does change the drive name, but visually it still displays the name chosen by default.
If you have a solution to propose, I would be very grateful.

A bit late to reply but since no one on the net has a satisfactory answer...
Right-click on the hard drive, 'Properties', 'Security' tab, 'Edit' button,
'Add...' button, 'Advanced...' button, 'Find' button, in the list that appears double-click on 'System', 'OK' button, you are back in the 'Security' tab, check 'Full Control' and finish with 'Apply'.
The files on the disk will scroll (if an error window appears, click 'Continue'). The bigger the disk, the longer it will take. When everything is done, you should be able to click 'OK' to close the 'Security' window.
Do this again for all disks with this issue, then restart the computer and check in 'My Computer' that everything is back to normal.-

Indeed, on two partitions containing only personal files, I had removed all permissions except for myself to prevent anyone from viewing them from another local account, for example, and I was unable to rename them. I just had to give "everyone" full access to finally rename my partitions "Local Disk"! ????

Hello.
I also had this issue after using UsbFix.
I didn't overthink it.
I restored my system partition with a backup image.
And everything is back to normal.

Yes, but for me, that's really almost a year ago, and I don't want things I don't want to restore and mess up the system even more.
Moreover, the "previous versions" go back at most to last week. -
Of course, there can be many changes over a year.
For my part, I make at least one image backup per week.
And especially before any new installation or risky maneuver.
That way, if there's a problem, I can immediately roll back.
