Writing speed too slow

Hello,

I am currently recording on a USB stick from a TNT decoder, my USB stick is 32GB and my TV screen displays (every 30 seconds): device write speed too slow. If a 32GB stick cannot be used for recording, how many GB should the stick be??? I specify that there was nothing on the stick. Can you help me? THANK YOU

Configuration: Windows 7 / Internet Explorer 8.0

    Hello,
    I have the same issue with my TNT decoder + 16GB USB drive, as well as with another TV with a recorder on a USB drive. And this is the case, regardless of the drive's capacity (1GB, 4GB, 16GB).
    It seems obvious to me that it's not the size of the drives that is the problem. In fact, on the market, USB drives are generally sold in blister packs, with no mention of their technical qualities such as input (recording) or output (playback) transfer speeds. This means we discover the problem when it's too late!!!
    For your information, my 16GB Sandisk USB drive, for example, is rated for 480 Mbps, which should correspond to 15 MB/second if I’m still up to date...(?). What is misleading is that the manufacturer's technical sheet explicitly states that it is suitable for video. However, this does not seem to be perfectly the case.
    Eager to hear your opinions.

      thank you for your information, I also have a Sandisk, but is it normal that when I record a movie it shows up as 2 files when I transfer it to my PC? On the flash drive, it remains as one file, thank you.

    I noticed that two folders have been created on my drive: a folder "PVR" which corresponds, it seems, to the recordings I make on a Tokaï TV, and a folder "ALIREC" which corresponds to the recordings I make with the Peekton decoder.

    If I open "ALIREC" I find that it contains a subfolder inside which are stored 2 files (one file of type vlc media file .rec, named INFO, and a file with a number as its name, of type video clip. That's the one I open on the computer. The Peekton decoder manages well...
    If I open "PVR", which is created by my other TV (Tokaï), it contains 3 files, of which 2 are only 1kb and are of type TMP and PLT. The third is of type video CLIP and that's the one that opens for playback on the TV and that must be clicked for playback on the computer.

    So, there's no need to worry about all of this... The devices figure it out. And so do I, even though I'm clueless about computers.
