Could you please tell me how to solder a phone ribbon cable, what materials to use, (type of wires and soldering iron) and what precautions to take? Thank you. Best regards
Hello! I am really stuck and am asking the same question again: How does one solder a phone ribbon cable? Please kindly indicate the procedure Best regards

there are ribbon cables and ribbon cables!! if the ribbon cable is made of wires glued with plastic, it can be soldered with a fine tipped soldering iron and "electronic" solder if it's a printed ribbon on a plastic film, it's (almost) impossible to solder it yourself, but it can also be repaired with silver lacquer (which is used to repair car defrosting glasses)

Thank you for your response. The original was welded, but now it seems that the weld is not adhering to the strip. Is the silver lacquer you mentioned available in stores? (Bricorama or elsewhere?) Best regards
Knowing that the sheets cannot withstand the presence of the failure for long. Current mobiles are made with ROHS solder, lead-free, which melts at 220 degrees Celsius.
