IKEA Online 3D Design Software Solved

Question

Hello,

I tried to design my kitchen in 3D using the online interface provided on the IKEA website, but when I get to the design page, everything is empty.
The search works, but I have nothing in the 3D frame, nor on the sides… I tried with Firefox 5 and IE 9, the result is the same, installation of the plugin is fine, but nothing appears on the site.
Can anyone confirm if they have the same problem as me? Or is it my configuration? (I have no other issues on my PC)

Configuration: Windows 7 fr 64bit / Firefox 5.0 and IE 9

Hello, same for me, I have exactly the same problem. On some forums, they say you should use Mozilla Firefox 3, otherwise it apparently doesn’t work. I think I'll give that a try.

I solved the problem: it was due to my ATI graphics card driver from 2010. I updated to the latest version of the Catalyst, and everything works perfectly on the same browser configuration.

Hello everyone,

An effective solution for me too. config=windows 7 64 bit +firefox 12.0 + ATi Radeon HD4250.
After updating the video card driver via catalyst, restarting the computer and reinstalling the IKEA plug-in under firefox, everything works.

Hello,

I can't connect to the IKEA 3D design tool either.
My Windows 32-bit configuration with an ATI RADEON 9600 graphics card.
I read your comments and tried to update my driver, but I'm not very skilled; however, I downloaded the latest CATALYST version.

What should I do, please? I'm lost!!!!!

Hello  Thank you for the information; after updating the HD 5400 graphics card via "Catalyst" the Ikea software works.  Best regards  CB7

Hello, the same problem with Ikea doesn’t display completely, I have updated the card and nothing works, I have the loading icon spinning in circles. ^^ Best regards.

It works well with Windows 7 64 bits.

You just need to open the right Internet Explorer:

Start / Search: type Internet Explorer.

3 choices, including the 64 bits. Choose the one that is simply titled

Internet Explorer, and you just have to go to the Ikea website.

I just did it right now on 2 PCs.

Unresolved problem for me: Windows 8 64 bits, I also have the loading icon of the Ikea kitchen design tool that keeps spinning but doesn’t complete.

With version 8 there is no "start" in the "taskbar" and apparently I have no choice of the version of Internet Explorer (version 10 was installed automatically).

Can anyone help me? Thank you in advance.
