Hello everyone, and Happy New Year

So, I'm going to tell you about my current problem.
For some time now, I've been having issues with overheating with my Dell laptop's GPU.
Well, that's not my main issue; a few days ago, I meticulously disassembled my laptop to look for any dust or something. Since then, I've been having a little (big) problem...

When I turn on the laptop, the screen is black... but when I start to close the screen, approximately halfway, it turns back on...
After reassembling it, I found no issues with the connections or anything; no tension on the cables when I move the screen, so the problem doesn't come from there. I'm leaning more towards the hinge; I haven't yet understood how the hinge works because when you close the screen (when you have a functioning laptop), the screen turns off, etc.
But I'm thinking it might be that I inadvertently touched something in that area and messed something up...
So if someone could explain the function in that regard...

Thank you.

Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 9.0.1

    Hello
It is possible that by constantly opening and closing the lid of your laptop, the cable (the connection that links) PC/Screen could be damaged.

P.S. Frequently create a restore point! it solves quite a few problems.
