repair broken tablecloth Solved

Question

Hello,

while dismantling my Vaio VGN A115M laptop, I broke the small ribbon cable that connects the motherboard to the touchpad.
Not smart, of course, but a friend told me that it could be glued back with special conductive glue.

Do you have any information on this?

Yes, there is glue, I've already done it

but the tablecloth must not move, otherwise everything breaks

Hello  if the tablecloth can be unplugged from each side, it might be wiser to change it.

I had the same problem with another Sony and I had to change the ribbon cable, but it didn't help because it still doesn't work :/
I'd like to know if there's a way to figure out where the problem is coming from? How can I tell if it's not something else, like the little cables for example?

Aside from the little wires, where could this ignition problem be coming from?
I repaired the ribbon cable, the soldering seems fine, and I don't have a voltmeter to check the cables (hoping the problem doesn't come from there).

I work in an auto center and we sell a glue that is used to repair the small defrosting lines on the rear windows of cars
