Hello,
I have a Sharp TV. At first, I could receive almost all the TNT channels, then only W9 and TMC remained. I wanted to reset the receiver, and since then I haven't had any channels anymore. When I check the signal info, there's nothing. Is there a way to reinstall the TNT (antenna)? Has anyone else experienced the same problem? Thank you in advance for your responses.
Configuration: Windows XP / Firefox 3.6.17

Hello
Generally speaking, many problems come from the antenna, especially if it's old. Many parameters have changed. Received power, frequency spectrum, etc.
Power: the DTT transmitters are not always very powerful; for example, the R5 that carries the HD channels near me is at 4 kW, while the other multiplexes are at 14 kW. I had a three-element (director) antenna in front of the dipole for analog (on the same transmitter), but now there are 21 and it's a wideband to capture from 21 to 58, which is close to the UHF band allocated (21-60) now. Channels 61 to 70 will be allocated for TV for mobile phones.
Connections also need to be taken care of: no loose plugs, no poor-quality cables. The signal measured at the antenna socket should be between 48 and 56 dB/µV; below and above this range, you'll either get a black screen or face search and memorization difficulties. Take good care of your antenna.
Cheers
P.S. Information about your transmitters can be found on the website www.tousaunumerique.fr; the test asks for your postal code for geographical location, but be careful, this information is theoretical.
