I'm not receiving all my messages on Facebook.

Hello,

sometimes when my friends reply to one of my messages on Facebook, I don't receive anything at all! I think the person hasn't replied to me when they actually have! Their reply shows up when they log in with their account, so it has been sent! But nothing is written on my end!
It's very annoying!
