Emachine e525 powers on but does not boot

Hello everyone,

Currently an unhappy owner of a broken Emachine e525, I have a question that comes up often but without a suitable answer.

I got an Emachine e525 (laptop) that is a year and a half old, so it’s out of warranty.
It starts up, nothing displays and no beeps...
I then started disassembling this PC (let's skip the comments on the brand, but I had a hard time taking it apart ;) ).

Today, still no beeps on startup even without HDD, drives, RAM.

I tried starting it without the battery -> Nothing works.

Still no beeps and nothing shows on the screen...
The startup sequence:
- Turning on the computer and the buttons/LEDs
- The fan turns on and the processor heats up (is there a link between the processor heating up and proof of its functioning?)
- The disk drive starts.
- The PC shuts down abruptly

I would like to know if you have any ideas to fix this PC and suggest other solutions than "it's definitely your motherboard!"

Have a good day

Tibus

Configuration: Windows 7 / Internet Explorer 8.0

    Good evening,
I’m providing the solution for this problem because I just found it today!
--> I unsoldered the CMOS battery, which emptied the BIOS in my opinion.
Everything is working again, the PC boots but there's still one soldering to do to reconnect the battery.

    Bye

      Hello

Where is that damn battery on this cursed computer? I've tried to dismantle as much as I could but I've never found it..
      Thanks for your help..

You have to dismantle the entire PC to access the battery... and you even have to take out the motherboard and the battery is on the other side... in short, it's a big mess and incompatible with Parkinson's lol.

I forgot an essential element !!!!
-> It powered off when it wasn't in use but never restarted!

    Have a nice day
