Hello
When launching Project64, my computer displays:
"Graphics error: Direct3D failed to initialize your HAL device. Make sure you have a properly configured 3D graphics card compatible with Direct3D 6.0"
I click OK and here's what it tells me:
"Kernel application error: The default or selected video plugin is missing or invalid.
Make sure you have at least one compatible plugin file in the plugins folder."
Can someone help me?
Thank you.

When I open my Project 64 it says: Direct3D failed to initialize. Error code: 8876086A D3DERR_NOTAVAILABLE. Then it says: The default or selected video plugin is missing or invalid. Please check that you have at least one compatible plugin file in the plugin folder.

I have the same problem and I can't solve it.
Hello, For graphics problems, it is actually extremely simple. If you see this error message related to graphics, you need to either:
- Go to the control panel, click on display, and set a medium color quality.
- Go to "run" and type "dxdiag" to access the DirectX configuration. However, there should not be any problems normally, and it’s better not to touch anything. Otherwise, you need to enable DirectDraw and Direct3D.
- In the display section of the control panel, go to "advanced" and adjust the graphics settings (speed, sampling flow conversion). It is crucial to adjust the speed so that Direct3D can work.

Have you tried manually configuring Direct3D on your graphics card if that's possible?????
In any case, in the error message, HAL means that the problem comes from the hardware layer (therefore from your card).
So check if there are any options on your card to configure Direct3D.
Good luck!

Les cartes peuvent être physiques, numériques ou même abstraites, et elles peuvent représenter des données variées, allant de la topographie à des statistiques démographiques.
Hello, when I launch Project64 with Zelda OOT and play for a while, as soon as I change the area for the first time, I see this message: Unsupported R4300i OpCode at: 801EDD08

Hello,
I have Project 64, and I would like to know if it is possible to find sites where I can download save files for certain games, in order to have all the characters, all the weapons... basically 100%. Cheat codes are not really enough for me :S. There it is, thank you and hope to see you soon. : )

You need to download a good Project 64 from a site like mininova.com. First, you should go to BITLORD.COM; this site will allow you to see the download levels. Then, when you go to mininova.com and search for "Nintendo 64," you will see a whole list of downloadable games, including the one we mentioned—Nintendo 64 + emulator. Click on that, and you will see another page where you can click on download torrent. You will check the download by clicking on a little green thing.
Hello,
I saw your message on this topic and I wanted to ask you for help if you can.
Since I restored my system, no games are working.
One of the games shows the following message:
Display initialization error, issue during resolution enumeration, driver: display device: Direct3D HAL. Please run the installer; I know it's not very understandable, but I translated it with Google's linguistic tool.
And how can I check on my graphics card if I can configure Direct3D?
Can you give me more details?
Thanks in advance.

Hello,
I uninstalled Project 64, but when I load a ROM, this message appears: the ROM you loaded does not seem to be an N64 ROM. Please verify your ROM with Good64.
