Hello,

I have .part files that I cannot delete because the following error message appears: "Unable to delete 005: Unable to read from the file or source disk." Does anyone have a solution?! Thank you in advance.

Hello
I'm having roughly the same kind of problem:
I want to delete .part files but an error message indicates that the file is being used by another person or program.
Is there a solution to delete them???

There might be a solution:
1 - Open Notepad (I know it sounds crazy!)
2 - Type a little text like: blah blah.
3 - Save the file in the folder where your .part file is located, with exactly the same name (for this, in the file type, select all files, and then click on your .part file)
4 - Notepad will tell you that the file already exists, and you say that you want to replace it.
5 - Go to the folder of the .part file and it should normally delete itself without any issues.

Thank you, it works; there’s no need to type a text in the text file, and if there are multiple ones to delete, do not close the txt, save them in sequence under the names of the other parts.

Hello, I recently tried to install a software that didn't work. Since then, every time I open Mozilla Firefox, a .part file is created in the folder where I placed the .exe of the software. No matter how much I delete it, it automatically reappears as soon as I open Mozilla Firefox. I did a system restore, but nothing works, it still keeps being created. Do you have a solution??

Hi!
This solution seems really stupid, but it allowed me to delete a 700MB movie that I couldn't open or delete, even in safe mode... It's really incomprehensible that it can be modified like that!!

Thank you very much
