Hello everyone!

I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate edition and here’s my problem:
I saved files on an external NTFS hard drive and I want to COPY these files to my internal NTFS hard drive.

I copy and here's what it tells me: "Cannot read from the source file or disk." and the copy stops. It asks me to either retry or cancel.
I've tried both. I've visited several forums, I've used Supercopier, Unlock.. nothing works

I can't take it anymore, please help me, I'm desperate.

Thank you in advance.

    Hello everyone
So I've looked for all the solutions because I'm stuck too.
And here’s my solution: I select the file(s) and put them into a Zip folder.
Then you just need to copy or cut this Zip folder and place it wherever you want (e.g., DDE). Then open it and put your files back where you want.

Good luck and have a nice evening DD59

Is it just the copying that is impossible or the reading as well?

Both, but it depends on the file. There are some mp3 files where it's fine and others where it's not "copyable". And when I play it, the music "bugs", it doesn't keep up, it cuts off, etc...

In my opinion, you had a problem during the copying process. Try transferring your files folder by folder or possibly file by file to be sure that none have failed to copy.

Yes, that could work. I tried it with my mp3 files, but here's the thing: some of them are bugging.
I need something, a manipulation or whatever, that could remove this error message and let me copy my files.
