Bluetooth headset problem Madcatz PS3!

Hello,

Let me explain, I bought a used Madcatz bluetooth headset model 8860.
So when I perform the scan, the PS3 recognizes it without any problem, then it asks me for the identification key. Since I didn't know it, I looked it up online and asked the seller, and the responses matched "0000", so I enter the key and then I get the following message:
"An error occurred during registration
Please try again.
(80110104)"

And I have tried 2/3 times with the same result

So I really need help; I have no idea how to fix this problem. It may be that the seller already registered it on his PS3, I’m not sure.

      I know that some PS3 Mad Catz 8860 headsets don't work on certain PS3s, but yours is recognized in the scan, that's weird!

    Yes, mine is very used on PS3, I don't know how that happened :s ..

    When you see the name of the earpiece on the scan, select it and press the triangle button on your controller. Let me know if you have any options!

    what a pain this peripheral is!!
    the error code is not really known! some have managed to connect by resetting the system to its default settings!

    on the XMB menu, go to settings, system settings, restore default settings. info here

      It's all good, I just found it ^^ that I simply keep pressing the power button throughout the recording with the identification key noted as 0000 ;)

      My problem is that I just changed my console, so my headset is no longer recognized on my new console. I am reconfiguring it and my console recognizes it, but when I enter my identification key, it says "an error has occurred..." So I don't quite understand, can you only register a headset once on a console? That would be unfortunate... =/

    It's all good, by the way everything is sorted out thank you. I just turned off the earpiece on the seller's advice and it worked. Then for the connection it didn't work but I did a few tricks by pressing 2/3 buttons and it worked.

    Thank you, but can you tell me how to make the game recognize the microphone? Like Black Ops?

      So much the better if it works, theoretically if the device is connected it should work in game.
