CIEL Personal Accounts 2011 Standard

I have Ciel Personal Accounts at home and I remember struggling a bit with the automatic operations (recurring payments, etc...). I'll take a look tonight, from what I remember it was a question of entering the dates (which weren't very logical at first) but after that it worked.
I'll get back to you tomorrow to let you know if I have the answer.
But it's true that Ciel is quite complicated!!!

I encountered the same issue with the automatic setup of periodic transactions. In fact, since I had assistance from the "after-sales" service, I contacted them and the problem was solved in less than two minutes.
To ensure that your transactions are added to the list of expenses, you need to follow the procedure below:
- in the "Lists" tab (blue banner at the top of the screen), click on "periodic transactions";
- there, you will see all your periodic transactions appear; double-click on one of them to open the processing window;
- Once in the window, check that the box "activate the operation automatically" is checked - in the same window, make sure that the box at the bottom "date of last operation recorded" is empty. If there is a date there, delete it, then click on the "calendar" icon and then click "EMPTY" and confirm.
Then repeat the same procedure for each transaction and your problem will be resolved.
After that, you just need to request in the "my accounts" tab, "execution of periodic transactions".

You need to be careful that in "date of last recorded operation," there is no date.
What I do is every month I go back into the periodic operations and I delete this automatically set date (certainly a bug).

I want to thank you because I still haven't solved my issue. I will apply what you told me. I have been keeping my accounts with MONEY for several years. I have never had a problem, and I can tell you that I regret this software. Especially at this moment, I have another issue with deleting two accounts. I can't do it because it tells me that the two accounts are still active, even though I have deleted all information about the accounts and they are at zero. I have the same problem with periodic operations that do not trigger automatically.

The only solution proposed to me by CIEL's "technical service" is to clear the last line "date of the last recorded operation" every month and then request the execution of the operations.

That is not what I call automatic execution.

Is this how you also proceed??

Is the Ciel personal accounting software available for Mac? What is the version?
I am using version 16 and wanted to know which Mac system version you are using? Because it seems that Ciel no longer sells this software. Therefore, I am looking for another software and I am struggling to find one. My Mac system is Leopard version 10.6.8
I found a budgeting software that looks excellent, Budget View, but it is only for budgeting forecasts.
