I understand better. Have you tried right-clicking the file in question, selecting properties, and checking if it's marked as read-only?

Hello,
You didn't specify which software you are referring to: Accounting, commercial management...?
If it's accounting, maybe you opened a previous closed fiscal year?
Otherwise, there is indeed an option to open a file in read-only mode, but it doesn't happen automatically; someone has to set up the user in the File / Passwords menu.

Hello,
thank you for your response.
In summary, my computer crashed.
"Ciel particulier" was on this computer that I had to format, losing everything.
However, I had saved my folder on an external hard drive.
After the computer regained its functions, I transferred my saved folder back to
the computer and that was when I found myself on the computer in "read-only" mode for CIEL.
Is there a checkbox that needs to be checked or unchecked somewhere?
I hope I have been clear.
Best regards,
thank you for your response.

Hello,
I encountered the same problem.
After looking for a long time, I found the answer by repeatedly manipulating the utilities that were not very cooperative.
As for me, it seems that there was a file closure anomaly that didn't want to admit it!
There you go, that's all I know... but it works.
Good luck.
