Good evening, I am having difficulty installing the Ciel Compta and Ciel Gestion Commerciale software.
Please, can you help me?

    Hello everyone,
    I reinstalled my Ciel Compta 2009 following a format of my laptop. I backed up the installation folder and the backups of my accounts and quotes.
    1- The software does not want to recover my backups whether in ZIP or file format.
    2- I copied and pasted the backup of the installation folder that I made before formatting, but now I get an error message: Damaged application source file: CamCconfig.cpp(151) when I try to launch the application.
    I am on Windows 7 Home Premium, everything is up to date.
    Knowing that we are at the end of the year, my year-end balance is essential for the company's accounting, redoing all the paperwork since January would take a long time.

    If anyone has a solution, thank you in advance.

    Hello,

    I started entering accounting data on Ciel Compta version 15.2 and then I changed my computer, so I switched to version 14.2. I have a problem because I can't retrieve the information entered in the first version since it is newer than my current version.

    What can I do?

      In particular, the education version. (installation for 20 network workstations)
      It mentions installing client workstations and a server.
      The documentation is quite inadequate.

      Hello, I know very well the Ciel software.
      For a network installation, you need to set up a server workstation with the installation CD (by selecting this option when inserting the CD).
      Then, on the other workstations, using the same CD, you choose the client workstation installation option from the menu.
      The link between the workstations is established with an application, Ciel Server, installed on the server workstation. It communicates the server's IP address to the clients.
      If the link is not established, you should check your antivirus and Windows firewall settings.

      Hello, I hope you don't mind me asking a quick question since you know the Ciel software very well: I have a problem closing the fiscal year for 2006 due to blocked entries, so I started 2007 by creating a new file. Of course, I don't have the opening balance for the bank, and I would like to enter it manually, but I can't find how to do it! Thank you for getting back to me.

      I have a problem with Ciel Evolution. Due to an issue, I had to reinstall Ciel, so I backed up my data, but every time I open Ciel Compta or Ciel Gestion, I have to restore.

    Unfortunately, I don't have a solution. Indeed, it is quite possible to go from version 14 to version 15, but the opposite is impossible.

    I only see the option of reinstalling version 15 on your new PC or perhaps, if your accounting allows it, re-entering the balances of a trial balance at the beginning of the period.

How can I do this without having to redo everything and especially in the simplest way (I don't master the software yet....): honestly, I'm overwhelmed!!

      Hello everyone,

      I started a project on Ciel Compta (I have an oral exam on it this Friday for my bac...)
      Now, I no longer have access to the software; I installed it at home, but when I try to open my file, Ciel Compta won’t open it. I then receive this message:
      "The component you are trying to use is on a network resource that is not available."
      Next, I need to find a path to a folder containing the installation package "Ciel Compta 15.0.msi"
      But I can’t find this folder.
      Finally, I receive this last message:
      "Installation package for product Ciel Compta 15.0 cannot be found. Please try to run Windows Installer with a valid installation package Ciel Compta 15.0.msi."

      Of course, you can start 2009 while "finishing up 2008," and fortunately so, because I can’t imagine closing my accounts without entering 2009; I would accumulate a considerable delay.

      I have Ciel Compta 2006. I haven't bought any updates yet because buying Ciel 2009 is actually more interesting.
      Problem: I won't be able to restore the data from version 2006 after installing version 2009. Is that true?

      You will be able to recover your data without any problem, although some adjustments will be necessary.

      When you purchase software and during installation (by simply checking a box), you automatically benefit from 30 days of free support, so make the most of it!

      I saw that you are an expert in Ciel software.
      Let me explain my problem: I have Ciel 2003, which is certainly an antique, but until now I've managed with it.
      However, I sent my file to the accountant, who modified it using her version v11.
      Of course, Ciel 2003 doesn’t want to open it through restoration (update not possible for versions later than 2006), even though it is an ahc file.
      So I installed version V15 2009, but that doesn’t work either. I asked the accountant to also create a zip file, but the restoration doesn’t work either; the program says it’s not a backup file.
      The solution I am thinking of now would be to create a .txt file using the relationship function with her expert in version v11, and then import it into Ciel v15.
      But is there a simpler way?
      Can we download a demo version of v11 so I can perform the operation myself, or are there any converters available?

    The salespeople at Ciel are really ready to do anything to achieve their goals. The one I spoke to yesterday assured me that I would not be able to recover my data unless I accepted her proposal for an update purchase.
