Hi,
here is my problem. I don’t think anyone can solve it, but I would like to know if other people have had this issue.
Well, I've been subscribed to Free for about a year now, and until last month, I can say everything was going very well. However, about three weeks ago, the Freebox started rebooting by itself approximately every 8 to 10 minutes. I waited 2 or 3 days thinking there might be maintenance work on the line. As the problem persisted, I called Free, who had me do some tests like checking for capacitors in my phone jacks, hard rebooting, etc.
Fortunately, I have a neighbor in my building whom I know well and who also has a Freebox, so Free told me to test my box at his place, which I did, and there were no reboots. So I came back home and tried changing all the cables, filters, etc., with no luck – still rebooting every 10 minutes. I tried the Freebox connected only to the TV on both my phone jacks (in 2 different rooms on 2 different TVs) and still experienced reboots (so it can’t come from the PC). I called Free two more times (in total, I spent an hour on the hotline ;) and they told me that from their end, they see no issues with my line and offered an appointment with a technician in a month, specifying that if the problem comes from my installation, it will cost me 90 euros). In the end, I don't see what else I can try with my installation. Plus, I just spent a month with these disconnections and will spend at least another month with them, even though I will still pay for these two months at 30 euros. I already find that unreasonable, but I’m not here to complain about Free; I just want to know if anyone else has had this problem because I really don't know what else to do...
Thank you in advance.

I think the problem is with the electrical intensity. In fact, I never had a reboot of the Freebox. Since I reinstalled an additional power strip to plug in all my devices at the same time (phone, scanner, printer, external hard drive, Freebox, screen, PC, wireless headset charger, speakers), the Freebox has been rebooting regularly. When I start my PC, it reboots, during browsing, etc....
I unplugged everything except the PC, the screen, and the Freebox, and there hasn’t been any issues for the past hour, hoping it lasts. If that’s the case, it would mean that the Freebox should not be plugged into a power strip with too many devices connected.

@hagbard.c: I'm really glad to know that I'm not the only one having this problem! I've been losing my mind for about a month because of it! I've had to call Free at least twenty times, only to get the same response every time ... restart the Freebox ... unplug/replug the box ... but that doesn't solve the problem at all! The only solution they came up with was to send me ... luckily for free ... an Ethernet cable ... claiming that it was my Ethernet cable that was the source of this problem! But it's been a week since I unplugged my Ethernet cable from the TV box, and the problem persists! Not to mention that if it was really my Ethernet cable that was failing, I wouldn't have internet access either ... or else, that would drop out every 5 minutes ... but the internet works perfectly!

I also have the same problem and I requested the cancellation of my box because I still don't have a solution and I have to pay an additional €45 as cancellation fees. This is simply outrageous.
