Hello.

I have refilled my black ink cartridge (with the printline refill kit) but I can't reprogram the cartridge. The printer software recognizes it as empty. Therefore, I can't get it to work.

Well, if you have a triangle button, press it for 5 seconds and release it, and normally the printer will reset and show your cartridges as full, but if that doesn't work, go to google.fr and type "recharge cartridge" + mp or ip4200 and there you will find several sites.

Check the right site where you will have the instructions and the diagram of the procedure.

Go to www.ssclg.com for a software reset, otherwise you need a "resetter" to reset the memory counter in the cartridge or the machine (less than €25 online or at ink refill retailers: I've tried it!!! Great!!!)

I am using a Lexmark 12A1980 cartridge on a Benq M610 multifunction printer. The problem is that the cartridge is not even empty and the error E53 displays (which means "color cartridge is missing"). There's nothing to do if we don't change the cartridge. This has happened to me 5 times already. The price of this cartridge is quite consistent. Is there any way to avoid this issue apart from buying a new printer? However, the Lexmark 70 black cartridge has never caused any trouble.

It's a Canon Pixma MP450; the procedure is the same as for the MP500 and MP830. I'll explain: once you've put your refilled Canon ink cartridge into the printer and closed it, wait for it to show the error message U91 or 41 or 48 or something like that. Then, press the triangle button and keep it pressed for 5 seconds, then release it, and the printer will reset and show the cartridge status as transparent. After that, select yes, and the printer will work as if it had a new cartridge.

I received a gift, an HP C4270 printer (price 79 euros) with a black HP 350 cartridge (for 200 pages) and a color HP 351 cartridge (for 165 pages). After two months, I recharged the cartridges, but they didn't work. The cartridges have a control processor that prevents recharging with ink.
I asked in the forum how to reprogram and recharge the HP 350 and HP 351 cartridges, and no one was able to provide a solution.
I bought two cartridges 350 XL and 351 XL (high capacity) for 55 euros.
With this profitability, I am abandoning it (putting it in the attic).
I have been using my old Canon S 520 for 5 years, and I recharge the cartridges without any problem.

Hello,  I have an HP 1215 printer; the problem is that I wanted to refill my color ink cartridge. Once I finished, I put it in my printer and nothing happened.  So I removed my black cartridge to see if it was the cause of the issue, but no, my color cartridge only prints in black.  So there is no color ink. Do you know why? I have an HP 4200 All-in-One printer
The HP All-in-One device can only detect the ink levels of genuine HP cartridges.
I refilled the empty cartridges and the printing is fine.
The ink level shows zero. Tried doing the nozzle check, 2-3 cleanings, etc.

I have the same problem here. I have a Lexmark X4450 printer. Last night, I filled my cartridges with a refill kit, but the printer refuses to print in color because it detects the cartridge as empty.

Françoise Barbier-Nvelle using the HP Photosmart+ series-B209 printer  After using my new printer for about 60 prints, including several color photo enlargements, the cartridges are already empty and show the alert sign (!), except for the orange cartridge which has a question mark. Hello everyone, I've had the same problem. And after searching all the forums, I found a workaround so that the Lexmark center doesn't block your cartridges. You put the new one in, and when it blocks you put the old one back in, try again, and then put the new one back in and voilà, it works, it confuses the chip!!! Enjoy!
