Hello,
I can't find a resetter for HP 350XL and 351XL chip cartridges to reset them after refilling. Does anyone have a lead or a trick to fool the chip?
Or can someone recommend a multifunction HP printer (there are plenty!) with refillable cartridges to achieve the lowest cost per page in office use?
Thank you!

Hewlett-Packard has equipped its printer driver with software that informs you about the ink levels in your cartridge. The level is given FOR INDICATIVE PURPOSES based on your printer usage, there is no level detector in the cartridges.
• Step 1:
The printer is in cartridge standby mode, unplug it: this will prevent it from calibrating every time. Before reinserting your cartridge, you will place a piece of tape over the contact marked by the red square in the photo.
Step 2:
Reinsert the cartridge, close the lid, and plug the printer back in. Wait for it to complete its cycle, the driver will indicate a problem with your ink cartridge. Click OK. The printer should then print the test page.
Open the lid again, the cartridge returns facing you. Unplug the printer again.
Step 3:
Remove the cartridge, do not remove the red tape and now place another piece of tape over the contact marked by the blue square in the photo. Either one will work or cover both blue at the same time depending on your printer model.
Repeat Step 2 but this time:
Do not unplug the printer.

Step 4:
Remove the tapes and reinsert the cartridge, close the lid and let the printer calibrate.
Then perform one or more head cleanings to prime the cartridge and trigger the level detector.
You now have cartridges No. 21, 27, etc. reset and the levels at maximum.
