Black Ops Launch Issue: Safe Mode

Hello, I recently bought Black Ops, I installed it and everything, but when I start it, the following error message appears:

"It appears that Call of Duty: Black Ops did not quit properly the last time it ran.
Do you want to run the game in safe mode?

This is recommended for most people.
It will change your system settings but not your controls."

I've clicked anywhere, no results, I put it on Steam (but didn’t buy it with) but I can't see in the properties if all files are present :/

Anyway, if someone has the solution, thanks in advance.

    Hey,

    I just had the same issue, but with the game purchased on Steam.

    Right-click on the game, properties, "local files" tab, and do "verify integrity of game files" and "defragment the game cache files."

    That's what I did, and then the game launched after the usual message about starting in safe mode.

    - For the physical version, you need to check if there is a file check utility in the game’s installation directories; otherwise, you probably need to reinstall the game.

    I don't have local file tabs, I'm on Windows Vista, I don't know if that makes a difference.

    Il semble que Call Of Duty: BlackOps ne se soit pas arrêté correctement la dernière fois qu'il a été exécuté.
    Voulez-vous exécuter le jeu en mode sans échec ?
    C'est recommandé pour la plupart des gens.
    Cela modifiera vos paramètres système mais pas vos commandes.
