So delete all the files that weren't there when you installed CoD.
Go to Program Files, Call Of Duty, there's a Main folder, open it and delete all the files like: "Fox One shot" or the maps you downloaded. That's it, bye. And that's the real answer.

Simplicity You go to My Computer/Program Files/Call of Duty/UO and you delete the documents at the bottom that you downloaded automatically while playing on servers with MODs! Lol don't delete everything because there are also original folders!

I've been hooked on this game for a while now, and this morning I had the unpleasant surprise of not being able to start a game right after going on a new server from which I downloaded a new map (several files)

So I browsed this forum trying 2 or 3 suggested things, but nothing worked. I tried to understand a bit better... actually, the error message happens right after a download from a new site!! So, no panic, I simply deleted all the files I had just downloaded!!! So where are they hidden???
C:\Program Files\Call of Duty\uo So for me it's not C, but G because that depends on where you put your games.... and after deleting one by one all the files that had been downloaded today (right-click "properties") everything went back to normal!!

Oye, the game has been working well for months and now it tells me that it cannot load "configure_mp.csv". In the end, it was giving me the same default mentioned before (default_cfg), so I made the copy, etc. and now it's showing me another default. Therefore, COD 1 and COD UO have crashed for the same reasons since they are in the same folder... Fortunately, COD 2 is not in there.
