Hello,
I have a small problem when I play games on my laptop. Whether it’s CoDWaW or Splinter Cell. In the middle of the game, randomly, I see the white cursor of my mouse appear (even though I'm in full screen). The game doesn’t stop but it makes me go back to my desktop. The game window minimizes to the taskbar.
It's quite annoying when you're in the middle of a game! lol With Splinter Cell it wasn't too much of an issue, a click on the application in the taskbar would relaunch my game, but with CoDWaW, the game bugs when I try to relaunch it (and the save system makes me start over from the very beginning of the mission every time!).
Does anyone have a solution for this little problem? Thank you for the attention you will give to my message!
Configuration: Windows Vista / Firefox 3.6.10

Hello,
wouldn't you accidentally press a button? xD It's possible.
Otherwise, is there anything that appears on your desktop? Like a window? (like Avira) Or a software that opens by itself and closes automatically?

Hello,
I don't think it's because you're pressing the same key multiple times; can you imagine using a skill or something like that, you'd end up back on the desktop every time o_o
Have you checked that there are no viruses on your PC?
No issues with the graphics card? DirectX? Is everything up to date (drivers, etc.)?

Hello,
I was talking about the key repeat feature because, for a while, when I pressed a key multiple times in a row or held down a specific key, a window would pop up allowing me to disable a function that was related to that key repeat feature. But that might not be relevant.
My computer seems fine. I'm running one of the latest versions of DirectX and I regularly update the drivers, but my computer isn't a "beast" lol it's true that I play on it, but its specs aren't impressive, so that might be where the issue lies!

Hello,
No, I don't press the "start" keyboard button for example lol
And nothing shows up when I'm on my desktop.
Isn't there a function to disable when we press the same key multiple times (like key repeat)? Could that be the issue? Since I play, I sometimes press the same key repeatedly...
I don't really know otherwise!
Anyway, thanks Eleys for your interest =)
