Problem with wow back to desk?

Hello,
So I have a problem with the game World of Warcraft: when I launch it, no problem, the first page loads, I click on Play and the problem is I end up back to the desktop without doing anything.
I relaunch the application and the same problem persists. I don’t know what to do anymore^^!!
My setup:
Windows XP SP3
Dual-core 3.16GHz
GeForce 9800GT 512 DDR3 4GB RAM
I have everything up to date^^

    Go to the Wow folder, you’ll see a utility to repair your WoW, try that, it worked for me.
