Hello,
I worked on a poster for an association, as usual, and as I learned during my studies, I did it in InDesign, simple, fast, and effective!
However, the person I need to send the poster to works with GIMP.
They would like to have a file with editable layers (especially the text).
I installed GIMP (my computer doesn't seem to like it very much lol), and then I saw that you could open EPS files; I've had to convert from InDesign to EPS in the past to open the page in Photoshop. So I sent the person the EPS file, but they can't open it...
Anyway, do you have another solution? I don't know GIMP at all and I don't want to redo all the work I've already done in InDesign, especially since if GIMP is a Photoshop equivalent, it is not at all designed for layout work!
So please help me find a solution! Thank you in advance
Configuration: Windows XP / Firefox 3.6.8

Transferring vector data from EPS to an image editing software always ends up in pixelation...
One case where this remains possible is by saving as PDF from Photoshop (recent version) and retaining the editing functions; this same PDF will be re-openable in Photoshop (and the layers will be recovered).
Because even if we keep the vector data in an EPS, they will be pixelated upon opening, whether in Photoshop or another image editing software.
It will be either Gimp or Indesign...!
