Lost funds and crop marks with gimp

Thank you Armorjax, but I had already visited these sites which gave me some information, but I wanted to know more precisely what I need to send to the printer: a file 22 * 30.7 (to have a 5 mm margin) and crop marks in the bleed area or something else?

I agree with The Braveheart, Gimp is not really the best software for creating a tri-fold brochure!

I see a lot of this kind of thing, and whether it's in Photoshop or even Publisher, almost every time the person forgets that a tri-fold brochure needs to be folded into three and that the panel that goes inside must be 3 mm smaller.
(100-100-97). If with a PDF file created in a layout software we can move objects to fix the issue, with images we inform the client and if they don’t correct it, we let it go... and the folding ends up misaligned... and the client regrets it...

Finally, maybe it’s not a tri-fold brochure and just a flyer.. in which case, there are 2 solutions to easily add cut lines and manage bleed: Scribus or Acrobat Pro.

Note that in the latest stable version of Scribus, the bleed seems to have "disappeared"...
