Hello,
I would like to know if there is a free way/software that allows opening and easily modifying InDesign files. No advanced layout, just opening for a quick edit, like changing a word in a text for example.
Furthermore, I would like to know if there is also a free way/software to do the same thing on a PDF.
Thank you in advance, CçM community =)

The InDesign file format is proprietary, to my knowledge there is no free software capable of reading them.
However, saving from InDesign as an exchange file is XML, so if you know programming... you might be able to do something... but it seems a bit random, especially for a simple modification!
For the PDF format, there may be more possibilities with drawing software (Inkscape) but again, it will depend on the complexity of the PDF file... If Inkscape refuses to open it, you can possibly convert the PDF file to EPS using PDFCreator.

To avoid leaving the topic open, I will mark the topic as resolved.
