Installation issue with Nero 10

Hello,
I have a problem when I downloaded Nero Multimedia Suite 10, it requires the installation of several files and 2 files are not installing: "Microsoft VS PIA Redist" and "Reboot Validator," and the installation fails, it tells me: "The installation of Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 kB967328 (x86) seems to have failed. The installation will now terminate." Thank you for your help!

Configuration: Windows XP / Internet Explorer 7.0

Hi tmnd

I had the same problem and while searching on English-speaking sites, I found a solution. Here's a brief summary:

1) Start the installation of Nero 10 and let the installation continue until you get the error message.

2) Copy and paste this "%temp%" into your Windows Explorer.

This will take you to "C:\Documents and Settings\MY COMPUTER\Local Settings\Temp"

3) Look for the Nero folder.

4) Run Nero.MultimediaSuite.MSI

And there you go, the problem is solved.

Hello,
I had the same issue and I resolved it by removing "in add or remove programs", .NET Framework pack SP1, and then reinstalling Nero 10.

But I have in add or remove:
Microsoft NET Framework 1.1
Microsoft NET Framework 1.1 French language Pack
Microsoft NET Framework 2.0 Service Pack 2
Microsoft NET Framework 3.0 Service Pack 2
Microsoft NET Framework 3.5 SP1
So which one should I remove to reinstall this trial version? Or if someone has another solution?

1) Launch the installation of Nero 10, and let the installation continue until the error message appears.

2) Copy and paste this "%temp%" into your Windows Explorer.

So you will be here ""C:\Documents and Settings\MY COMPUTER\Local Settings\Temp""

3) Look for the Nero folder.


4) Run Nero.MultimediaSuite.MSI.

And there you go, the problem is solved.

At the risk of repeating myself, this is the solution I tried and it works :)

I found the solution, I removed Nero, and I downloaded it from 01net.com, and now all the files have installed.

Thank you so much when you imagine that I've been looking for 15 days on how to install Nero that I bought too (for once I'm spending money on software lol)

Hello

I have the same problem.
If I uninstall NERO 7 that I have on my computer and then reinstall the trial version 10, will I be able to reinstall a version of NERO afterwards?

Hello,

I had the same problem, I typed "microsoft vc redist 2008 sp1" into Google, Microsoft opened, I started the download by confirming "uninstall", it uninstalled....I relaunched Nero 10, and it worked perfectly!!

Nero 10 IS COMPATIBLE WITH XP. To install, insert the Nero CD
into the drive, stop the CD from launching, click on "My Computer", right-click on the drive where the CD is, click on "Explore", find the file written << Nero Multimedia Suite >>, double-click on the file, you will normally be asked for the activation key; there you go
I also uninstalled Microsoft .NET Framework 1; click on "Start", click on "Control Panel", click on "Add or Remove Programs", find the Microsoft .NET Framework 1 file, there will be several files, uninstall only that one. Still try to do what I said at the beginning; if it doesn’t work, then uninstall Microsoft .NET Framework 1.
