Registration issue on nero wave editor

Hello,
every time I try to record a sound from my computer directly on Nero Wave Editor, the same message appears: "an error occurred while trying to open the wave output system".
Can someone help me? 
Configuration: Windows Vista Internet Explorer 7.0

Hello
I hope it's a sound file on your PC that you want to put into Wave Editor because I don't think a direct sound from the computer speakers will work.
