Windows 7 Home Family Remote Desktop

Hello,

I made the grave mistake of buying Windows 7 Home Edition and I now find myself unable (at least according to my knowledge) to establish remote access to my computer.

After trying many methods I find myself here...
Is there a method, simple or not, to be able to connect remotely to my computer from another computer, on a different OS, ignoring router and firewall issues?

Thank you in advance for your help,
Have a nice day!

Configuration: Windows 7

Thank you for your reply, tested and approved!
(I’m being petty and allow myself to correct: "Put this patch, because actually it’s blocked.")

However your link is a bit old; for the updated original file, follow this link:

      (I just can’t seem to create a hyperlink:-( )

    Impossible with the Home edition.
I've already tried (I can't verify it immediately since I'm at the office right now :) )

    edit :
    Ridiculously contradictory but :

All editions of Windows 7 include Remote Desktop connectivity.

*You can use Remote Desktop to establish a connection from any edition of Windows 7.

*You can connect to computers running Windows 7 Professional, Windows 7 Ultimate, or Windows 7 Enterprise.

*You cannot use Remote Desktop Connection to connect to computers running Windows 7 Starter, Windows 7 Home Basic, or Windows 7 Home Premium.

Windows 7 Home Edition can be remotely connected to a Windows Pro, but no Windows can connect to a Windows Home edition. It’s not contradictory. It is still possible to do it, but via software like TeamViewer, VNC, or others.

    It was quite simple
mstsc if I remember correctly. It’s been quite a long time.

Do you mean "Remote Desktop Connection"? Windows 7 too, like all Windows, to access it click Start and in the search box type "mstsc" and press Enter, and voila—the Remote Desktop Connection will appear.

Ah oui, il n’y a que l’édition intégrale et professionnelle qui peuvent le faire (moi j’ai professionnel, c’est pour ça) mais explore ça, ça peut être intéressant : http://secure.logmein.com/...
