Canon MP 220 paper loading issue!

I have a Canon MP 220 printer that has been working perfectly for several years!
However, for the past few days, I have been unable to print; the paper no longer feeds!
I haven't touched anything!
The first sheet is caught just on the lower right for a few millimeters and then it goes skewed and gets jammed!
What could be the problem?

    Hello
check if there is anything on the paper feed rollers. Feel free to turn it over and tap it.

Okay. Just shows that a little slap can be invigorating. LOL. Have a good evening.

      Good evening

thank you for your response; I took a close look at the rolls and found my USB key that I had misplaced for several months...
result: printer repaired and USB key found.

    Hello,

I have the same issue with my MP220, the same symptoms.
I have gone through the "maintenance" mode of my printer, performed the "lower plate cleaning" and "roller cleaning" modes without any problem, the sheet passed fine. But as soon as I start printing from my PC, or print a test page from the printer, the sheet is only pulled from the right side and it prints "in the void" before displaying a "paper jam" message...

    If anyone has a tip...

maybe do like me, shake it a bit upside down to dislodge a piece of paper stuck that I couldn't see.
it's really annoying when it doesn't work!

Indeed it works, an unknown body had slipped inside. Nevertheless, it worked well during the cleaning modes (well, some of them), who knows... Thank you Stella!

    Hello,
I had the same problem with my Canon i865: paper getting stuck and printing nothing. After several cleanings of the rollers (by pressing the resume button until it blinks 3 times), and using compressed air to remove dust, nothing worked, I even tried slapping it. Until today when, thanks to your posted messages, I continued to search and found the object that was blocking it: a rubber band. Thank you!
