Hello. Can you please tell me how to find the clipboard in Windows to copy an image and paste it into a document? Thank you in advance.

Hello,

The clipboard in XP is the program (clipbrd.exe) you can find it here > C:\WINDOWS\system32\clipbrd.exe

To create a shortcut on the desktop, right-click on clipbrd.exe and Send to/Create shortcut (to the desktop)

You're talking about ctrl+c (x), right?   If that's the case, you can do ctrl+v to paste it wherever you want.   More.

Hi,
When you do copy-paste, etc., everything is saved on the clipboard. It gets emptied every time the PC shuts down.
Under XP, to view it, do ==> START ==-> RUN and then type clipbrd
And there you go, the Clipboard with everything you've put in it, but if the PC has just been turned on, it will be empty!

Hello,
The clipboard is a location somewhere in the computer's memory.
In fact, generally, you don't have to worry about where the clipboard is located.
It's a temporary location used to transfer temporary information.
For example, to transfer a piece of text from Internet Explorer to a Word document:
in Internet Explorer
select the text with the mouse.
copy to the clipboard by pressing ctrl+c (or Edit menu/Copy)
open Word
paste the text by pressing ctrl+v (or Edit menu/Paste)

Another example, to transfer a piece of photo to Word
use your favorite photo software
select the part of the photo to transfer with the mouse

There is a clipboard that saves all the "copy-paste" actions during a session.

It can be found in the new Word 2007. At the top left of the window, you can see the "copy" and "paste" icons in a small window.
