Hello,

I would like to know how to put my Toshiba computer in safe mode because I tried F8, F5 and neither works. Maybe it's specific to Toshiba?

Thank you for your replies!

Configuration: iPod touch - iPhone OS 4.2.1

Hello, so you remove the battery from your laptop and unplug it (without turning it off)
then it will shut down and when you turn it back on it will tell you that it didn't shut down properly and it will ask if you want to start normally or in safe mode.

Thank you for your very quick response, but my problem is that I can no longer boot into Windows, and no matter how hard I try your method, when it starts before it freezes, it just restarts normally. I can't choose the boot partition. I can only choose the device.

Sincerely

Dear me, it works, but my computer is an Acer. Could you make a video of the startup if it's not too much to ask? Normally, it asks you that after writing white on black in large letters "Toshiba."

Yes, I would like to, except that without a computer I won't be able to send it to you. The computer starts up, the Toshiba page appears with at the bottom the message: F2 setup, F12 for boot setup selection menu. Then it either boots automatically from the hard drive or I can choose other devices for the boot, but I cannot choose the partition of the hard drive I want to boot from.
There you go, I've tried to describe everything as best as I can.

Thank you for your help.
