Hello, for a few days now, the loading icon of the mouse (small blue circle) has been perpetually active.
As if an application were continuously loading in the background.
This has led to a performance loss in absolutely all applications and games. Given that the PC itself is not very powerful, let's just say it's lagging.
I've searched a lot on the internet, but nothing works; the problem persists :'(
I ran a Malwarebytes scan, another adw cleaner, and attempted a defragmentation and database scan. As I speak, a Kaspersky antivirus scan (total security 2017) is in progress.
My PC is an Acer Aspire V3-771g laptop, and here are its components:
- i7-3632QM at 2.2 GHz with a boost to 3.2 GHz
- NVIDIA Geforce 740 M
- 8 Gb of RAM (Kingston, 1 stick)
- 1000 Gb hard drive at 7200 Rpm (practically new since it was replaced less than 3 months ago)
All running on Windows 8.1
One suspicion I had was the accumulation of dust in the fan and air outlet, preventing the computer from properly venting and causing component overheating.
But this seems unlikely to me since the problem appeared overnight.
I hope you can help me :)
P.S: I'm trying to attach an image of the mouse (found on the internet since I can't take a screenshot
)
Configuration: Windows / Chrome 54.0.2840.71

Hello, can you "right-click" on the taskbar > "Task Manager" and check the percentages at the top and tell me what they are? (If you don't see any percentages, click on "More options" at the bottom of the window.)

Don't worry, I'm used to the task manager ^^ The disk is around 10% constantly, but the processor and the RAM are between 40% and 70% all the time without any "heavy" applications running :/
