Avoid using "--no-sandbox" in Chrome

Hello,

in order to load web pages with Google Chrome, I have to add the command "--no-sandbox" at the end of the shortcut. However, the problem persists with internet links.
I would like to know if there is a way to do without this "--no-sandbox" command or how to add it to the executable file of the browser.

Best regards.

Hello jmarion3, that's very kind of you but it's precisely this technique that I'm trying to avoid, because as soon as I want to open a shortcut, the command "--no-sandbox" is not applied and Chrome then doesn't work.

I use Zone Alarm as a firewall.

The first idea would be to install a firewall compatible with Chrome or to install Firefox (unless you don't like it).

Without Zone Alarm, the problem persists. And I don't use Firefox for browsing.

Hi,

https://support.google.com/chrome/forum/AAAAP1KN0B04y505eXCFOI/?hl=en&gpf=d/category-topic/chrome/report-a-problem-and-get-troubleshooting-help/4y505eXCFOI

or more simply, I had the same problem after being infected by the "defense center" malware. Cleaned it up quickly, but it left chrome in the same state as yours, with the only solution being the "no sand box": not great.

So I advise you to:
1- run a scan with malwarebytes, it doesn't cost anything.
2- https://support.kaspersky.com/5350
Personally, it was the rootkit that had blocked chrome for me.

And now I'm posting with chrome, without the "no sand"...

I have now switched back to Firefox and reinstalled Windows mainly due to an issue with Windows Update. I'm going to test Chrome to see if it was the source of the problem.

Indeed, Chrome is working properly, and it's faster than before!

Hello,
I don’t know anything about computers.. I had a problem with Google Chrome that was working fine.; then it stopped working (I was on an online gaming site)
.;the window shows up.;I type in a website name but nothing happens, not even Google shows up.;I found an answer here on this site (added No sandbox.) and now it's a disaster.;lots of ad pages that I can’t remove anymore.. I don’t even know how to remove No sandbox.;!!!! I uninstalled Google and reinstalled it.; still the same problem..
Advice: don't trust anyone.; better to consult a friend who knows about it!!

Hello;
What antivirus or anti-malware do you have installed on your computer?
