Hello,
On April 17th, I ordered a poster on www.posterxxl.fr, taking advantage of a discount offered by CityDeal. Since then... nothing. I received the confirmation email, I was charged, but there's no sign of my poster! The order page indicates that nothing has been shipped: https://www.posterxxl.fr/statut-de-commande?dpdnummer=01805018494719
I don't know what to do. I sent them a message twice asking for an update on my order, no response. I tried calling them, but their phone service is in German, I don't understand anything!
Do you have any advice for me? Also, have any of you encountered this problem? And, if my package has been "lost," how do I go about getting a refund (30€ after all)?

I'm in exactly the same situation as you. My order has been charged and the site indicates that the printing has started, and that's it.
Except my order comes to €75!
No response to my emails and my calls go to an answering machine in German as well.
I'm going to check with my bank on what to do...

I also had a problem with this company. Three weeks late to receive my order, which, despite their advertising, arrived after Christmas, a customer service (if we can call it that)... how can I put it... of extraordinary incompetence, and when a response is finally given, the company PosterXXL blames everything on its carrier, which doesn't have the right information to make its deliveries correctly.
The last straw comes when we have to submit a review after placing an order with them; when it's negative, they refuse to post it on the grounds that it doesn't meet their moral standards...! Their customers who don't meet their moral standards, while they are just good at cashing our money without feeling obligated to provide any service in return... Stay away!!!

I also placed an order that was delivered to me in terrible condition, which I refused.
Since then, it has been impossible to reach them.
They invariably send me the same generic email stating that they have taken my request into account.
This situation has been going on for a month now.
I have unsuccessfully tried to call 004989122289788, but after keeping me waiting for a good 10 minutes with unbearable background noise, a pre-recorded voice announces that all representatives are busy and that I should call back.
(I can believe that, given the number of dissatisfied customers.)
Since then, it has been impossible to reach them.

Hello everyone, well, I didn't inquire right away about this site, and reading your comments, I am quite disappointed. I just got a credit card, I wanted to buy a XXL poster for my boyfriend, I still haven't received an email to see where my order is, the only email I got is: Thank you for your order, blah blah blah. And when I search with the number for my order, it tells me that no orders are available. I don't know what to do. I'm going to send them an email... But still. I'm worried... Can you tell me what to do? Thanks in advance...
it's not a scam, I've always received from posterXXL. I ordered two bags, two mugs, and a book, and I always received everything, except that they are very slow for delivery; it can take more than a month, even two months, to deliver, and they go through a carrier for the delivery. I don't understand why people say that posterXXL is a scam.

AVOID! Order placed on 12/16/12 for a Christmas gift. Nothing received by 12/27/12: The gift will have to wait... The phone number is fake (I reach a slow German message, it feels like being on hold with hell!). I sent 2 emails, received a response only to the second one and in German (great) basically telling me that they are late and that I have to wait (?). No customer account to track the order: It's poorly done and my first order with them will be my last. ABSOLUTELY AVOID this site: If they are not scammers, they are at least incompetent!!!
[Continued] It is January 3rd and still no package. I sent an angry email to PosterXXL two days ago, stating that I am part of a French press group and that we would be happy to report on their methods, and I received an email yesterday informing me that my package was sent by Chronopost! Small "hiccup": When I enter the tracking number on the Chronopost website, that number is... Unknown! To be continued...
Hello, after ordering two 60x80 posters, I wanted to inquire about the delivery times and stumbled upon this forum. When I read all your experiences, I got worried that my posters might never be delivered. Especially since my order tracking was unavailable.
In the end, no scam for me as they just arrived with a small delay, and I hurried to open the package to check that everything was okay. Result: I am very satisfied because the quality is great! I had sent two photos taken with a good camera and they really look nice, I am very happy. All that's left is to hang them up... :)

They are always fraudsters: on June 6, 2011, I ordered a photo book. To this day, despite an impressive number of emails sent, I see nothing coming.
Why not call the number provided on the site 00 49 89 122 289 788, especially since there's someone on the line who speaks French very well? It's important to occasionally check the information given...
Alright, sometimes replies to emails take a while, but normally within 2 days.

[Continuation and End!] January 4, 2013: Finally received the package I ordered on December 16, 2012, for Christmas...! The packaging was very acceptable, the photo paper was thick enough, and the print quality was relatively decent. Not much to complain about considering the price for the enlargements themselves.
What was disappointing for me with this supplier was their total incompetence in customer follow-up:
- Delays that do not match what was announced (and online testimonials abound to denounce this).
- No customer account to track the progress of the order.
- A phone number in Germany that does not work (when I tested it, I heard strange sounds on the line, like a message that was playing in slow motion).
- No personalized response to your email inquiries, just an automatic reply (the first in German, the second in French) basically saying they are delayed and you need to be patient...
- When you receive a shipping confirmation (for me via Chronopost), the tracking number for the package is purely fictitious, and therefore you cannot track your package...
This company seems credible thanks to its TV ads, its Google positioning, but I believe it suffers from the syndrome of the frog that wants to be bigger than the ox. Its logistics do not match its ambitions, and customer satisfaction does not seem to be their priority. Too bad.
Although I received my photos (nearly 20 days after the order!) I will never order from them again. There are plenty of competitors who work at least as well and who genuinely care about their customers!

Hello, last year for Mother's Day, my brother and I ordered a photo album from posterXX.fr (a very nice album) received on time, and yesterday I ordered 150 photos and 2 posters 20/30cm, and then I read this forum and except for the last comment, none are positive. I'm starting to have doubts; I will see if I receive them on time and with good quality.
For the return of a broken item, it has happened to me before; I received the new item in perfect condition after two months.

But what's done is done, I had no choice, I couldn't back out, so I'm waiting, hoping not to receive my product three months later like some of you have.
On the site, nothing alarming in itself, very simple to use. I chose a photo taken with my iPhone, and in two or three clicks everything was sorted, I just went to look for some discounts -you never know- and by chance I managed to get 20% off my order. Not bad.
Big downside on their site, no account creation.. I finalize my order and remain slightly stunned not seeing anywhere a section "Account", "Track my Order".. I must admit it's slightly frustrating, imagine placing an order of over €100 and ending up with only one proof, a page stating "Your order has been validated, thank you for your trust" or something like that.. Basically, you're faced with a fait accompli, you've paid and you're praying to receive a confirmation email because you have nothing to serve as proof in case a dispute arises, and moreover, you cannot track the status of your order on the supplier's site...
In short, I receive the two or three emails they send with each order and everything goes well in the best of worlds.. I understand that I'll be delivered very quickly, for a product shipped from Germany I must admit I didn't imagine at all receiving the product so quickly: Order placed on 27/08/13, received on 02/09/13.. Upon receiving, the product is in very good condition, packed in a well-sealed box, inside the product is surrounded by bubble wrap, and I must admit that the quality is there! For a photo of iPhone 4 quality, a first-rate picture (I took the basic of the basic) measuring 80 by 60 cm, the quality is more than acceptable.
In short, I must admit I was expecting the worst of the worst and I didn’t encounter a single problem with them...
I think they should still consider creating an account on the site to have order tracking, easily access information, contact customer service, etc., as well as an estimated delivery time on their site depending on the time of year... I searched absolutely everywhere, they don't explain anywhere how long you might wait for your product? Having ordered at the end of August I thought I'd receive it between the end of September and mid-October, that's to say..
In short, from my personal experience I really recommend this site, I must admit that I might be inclined to place another order, but given all the negative reviews I still remain cautious and wonder if I'm not the lucky customer who ordered at the right time and had no issues. In any case, good experience for me even though I think they need to work on their website/internet service.

I ordered a poster on 12/5, I received it this morning (12/11): sturdy packaging (the contents are really well protected) and despite the limited definition of the source file, the result is really good. The support (basic poster) and the print are of good quality.
Moral of the story, tough luck for those who have encountered problems with their order(s) and it is true that in general when things go well, people don't say anything but for all those who want to order from Poster XXL, think of the silent but/satisfied crowd: I think you can go ahead with peace of mind.

I ordered a photo book from PosterXXL on Saturday, November 30, 2013. At the end of the order, there was no confirmation email.... So I was worried.... I sent an email to customer service to see if my order was registered. On Monday, December 2, I realized that my credit card had been charged the amount of my order, and still no response from customer service.... On Tuesday, the 3rd, I received an email stating that my complaint would be handled by customer service. The next day I received confirmation that my order had been shipped with a Chronopost tracking number: the package was delivered two days later! The book is of great quality, so all's well that ends well! So no scam on my part despite the bad experiences of other users.
I insist: beautiful prints, really well done!

Poster XXL seems like a real scam to me.
