Ds lite white screen

Hello,
my son dropped this down. Ever since he turned it on, the bottom screen works but not the top one: at first, we could see the game by tilting the screen, but now it stays white?
I don't know if the problem is with the console itself or if the screen is just damaged. Can someone help me please? 
Configuration: Windows Vista / Internet Explorer 7.0

    I had the case on my DS, I changed the LCD screen.

    P.S.: I bought it on http://www.buzzygame.fr and check in the DS Lite spare parts section.

    Ben, buy another DS, the one with the white screen. Ben, it's done, it's easier like that.

      Do you think that if we only change the top screen, it could work again? I saw that we could change the parts.

        HELLO

        IF YOU HAVE ONLY ONE SCREEN THAT IS WHITE AND THE GAMES WORK, YOU CAN CHANGE THE TOP SCREEN; HOWEVER, IF IT'S BOTH SCREENS, THEN YOU HAVE THE SAME ISSUE AS ME. IF YOU WANT TO CHANGE YOUR SCREEN, YOU CAN DO IT; IT SHOULD NOT COST MUCH. I CHANGE MINE MYSELF AND IT'S NOT DIFFICULT.
