Canon displays printing in progress. Solved

Question

Hello,
when I start printing, the following message appears: "printing in progress" but nothing happens, except that I can print a page that only contains a few words "not to exceed one line."
However, my Canon printer works perfectly with my Acer laptop, but the problem persists with the Dell one. Please help me.

Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 6.0

Finally, I detected my problem, it was simply my USB cable; the cable doesn’t work very well despite the detection of my printer,
I changed it for another one and it’s resolved
the first one measuring 2.5m more than the second (1m) thank you.

Hi, I have installed and reinstalled the driver via a CD-ROM but I'm still having the same problem. My printer can print a page with a few words, 1 or 2, but it can't print a text...

Check that there's no queue for your printer; if there is, delete all pending jobs.

I already had this problem when trying to print a Word document; it printed a few words and the rest of the page came out quickly and wasn't printed. I solved the problem by changing the name of my document.
Why it did that, I have no idea.

Thank you again. Even changing the name of the file didn't solve the problem. I can say that it's a conflict between Dell and Canon, right? And that this brand doesn't support such a printer.
