Is an invoice mandatory for distance selling?

Hello.

I ordered wall decoration items online.
I placed my order using an online form.
I have the amount of my order > online quote.
I sent a check.

I received my order - without any issues.

Since there was no settled invoice included with my delivery, I requested this invoice.
Response: Everything is detailed in the order - We are not in the habit of providing attached invoices.

Question:

1) Do you find this normal?
2) Is a settled invoice mandatory? (If only for insurance in case of a problem).

    OK, all right - excuse me.

    But, when I want to repost my question in this 'consumption' forum > not possible = question already asked!

    However, I don't see it in the mentioned forum, and you haven't transferred it apparently.

    So, what to do?

    Change the title?
